What should I do after an injury?
It is extremely important to that you seek urgent face to face medical advice at the resort medical centre. They can initiate further investigations and start a management plan. Ask them for copies of all documentation, x-rays or links to scans such as MRI or CT.
How does the booking process work?
When you click on the booking calendar, you will see 30-minute availability slots for your private video consultation. You can choose between the standard £300 service or an extended £500 service if you think you may need multiple consultations. The preferred method of video contact is via Zoom. Once your booking is confirmed you will be emailed a link for the meeting and a UK mobile contact number for immediate support via text, Whatsapp or call. Any x-rays and documents can be attached and secured in your reply email.
How do I get prepared for the consultation?
Before the meeting, make sure you have completed the online forms in as much detail as possible, and uploaded all resort x-rays and medical documents. For the consultation, it is best to be in a private area with good phone/wifi reception. Zoom can be used through your browser or as a downloaded app on your phone. If there is a problem using Zoom then a wifi or network call can be used instead.
What happens if I have already left the resort and am back in the UK?
You can still use the full service. This will still save you valuable time getting expert advice and follow-up. There are often significant waits for this type of treatment and delays to treatment can worsen outcomes.
Is the service available to children?
Not at this stage; you must be a minimum of 18 years old.
How much does the service cost?
£300 covers a comprehensive review and summary report.

What should I do after I land back in the UK?
If you have chosen a private pathway then you will be contacted by the medical centre to ensure you have a scan appointment (if required) and an outpatient follow-up with a Trauma & Orthopaedic Consultant. You can choose the private medical centre, consultant and timing based on your location and convenience.
If you have chosen an NHS pathway then you need to wait for your GP or local trauma/fracture clinic to contact you with your appointment. It is worth calling both of these to ensure that they have received the consultation letter and you’re on their waiting list.
